My work involves a significant policy dimension, focusing on a range of online harms and the ethical implications of emerging technologies. I have collaborated with stakeholders and organizations on both sides of the Atlantic to address critical challenges in the digital landscape, including the World Customs Organization and Council of Europe. I have also participated in numerous workshops and conferences on democratic resilience, disinformation and organized crime. I have authored several policy reports detailing novel Russian influence campaigns, malign uses of deepfakes—including image-based sexual abuse—and the importance of strategic foresight in law enforcement.
