Projects


(2024) Comparing the Belarusian & Russian Regimes' Framing of President Biden Withdrawing as a 2024 Candidate. This project compared the reactions of the Kremlin and the Lukashenka regime to Biden’s announcement in media published for domestic audiences, and decoded the tactics and operations of their respective communications strategies.
(2023) Online Gaming Platforms: New Marketplaces for Drugs and Avenues of Recruitment. This project examined how organized crime groups and cartels exploit online gaming and virtual reality (OGVR) platforms to engage in illicit drug transactions and recruit youth and constructed a novel database for tracking OGVR recruitment incidents.
(2023) Antisemitic Hate Groups: Associated Narratives, Entities, Sentiments, and Emotions. This project analyzed the rise of antisemitism through the lens of hate speech on social media and deployed a novel combination of advanced sentiment and emotion models on Twitter data to identify user emotional signature patterns consistent with prior extremist actors.
